About the PHP Developer position

We are looking for a Senior Backend PHP / WordPress Developer with strong plugin development experience.

You should be able to write clean code and ensure your programs run properly. We also expect you to be passionate about building software and perform well working in a team, along with developers, engineers and web designers.

PHP/WordPress Developer responsibilities are:

• Maintain, develop, and support WordPress plugins
• Assure programming and procedures are documented for audit, backup and business continuity purposes.
• Connect with 3rd-party API with oAuth2 Authentication, Token Storage & Management
• Integrate code into existing plugin architecture
• Create responsive/adaptive designs that meet usability and accessibility web standards and best practices
• Collect and review specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Work together with web designers to match visual design intent

PHP/Wordpress Developer requirements are:

• 2+ years' experience developing complex WordPress plugins
• Deep understanding of WordPress plugin architecture and engineering
• Deep experience with API oAuth2 Authentication, Token Storage & Management
• Expert level familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem to include themes, content management, building complete business web sites and leveraging WordPress plugins effectively
• Expert level skills in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Responsive and mobile web design experience
• Excellent knowledge of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Strong problem solving skills with a creative approach
• Strong organizational skills with a good ability to prioritize tasks
• Good ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
